Minister's Special License Program
Minister's Special License Program
The outdoor education program would like to send out a big Thank-you to the Minister's Special License Program in their support of our program. Through the Alberta Conservation Collaboration, our outdoor education program was able to receive a thousand dollar grant! The grant money has been used to purchase: 3 Katadyn water filtration systems, 3 MSR stoves, 1 cookware set, and 3 Lowe Alpine backpacks. All of these will be put to the test on the high school outdoor education trip to Mount Robson in June and throughout our program in years to come. Thank-you! It is because of programs such as the Minister's Special License that our program, and thus, our students are able to experience so many different hands-on activities and opportunities.
