Parent - Teacher Interviews

As has been the practice for the past few years, the upcoming parent-teacher interviews will be primarily for parents whose son/daughter is at risk or is failing one or more subjects, or the entire grade level.  Unless you have received an invitation from your son/daughter's teacher, you may assume that progress has been satisfactory and an interview has not been requested by the teachers.   However, the teachers are very happy to meet with you if you so wish.  The time from 6:00 - 7:30 PM will be set aside for this purpose. You are welcome to phone and book an appointment time or you can just come to the school and meet with teachers when they have open time.  If you are unable to come on March 18, please phone the teacher you wish to meet with to arrange an alternate time.

                   3:30 - 6:00 PM:  Interviews by teacher request

                   6:00 - 7:30 PM:  Open Interviews

                   7:30 - 9:30 PM:  Interviews by teacher request

Second Semester Extra Help

I will be implementing an after-school tutoring program aimed at Science 10 Biology 20, and Chemistry 30 students. Many students find grades 10, 11 and 12 to very challenging years. This program will allow those students who are finding it difficult to achieve their goals in their course, to receive extra tutoring after school on a regular basis. 

Tutoring will take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 3:30 - 4:30. I am also available for extra help at 8am every morning. If these times do not work for students, just come and ask about staying another day. I will try and be available for extra help when ever needed. If your son/daughter is having difficulty meeting their goals, it is incumbent on the student to attend this tutoring. It is my sincere hope that all students are successful in meeting their goals, and that they become the best they can be.
