Band Parents Association

Dear Parents,

The Band Parents Association would like to thank you for your support over the years in keeping our band program
running. We are funded by two separate accounts: our Casino account which has limited spending capabilities
(instruments, clinicians, festivals to mention a few) and the other is our General account. We are contacting you today
regarding the need to fund raise for the General account. Each year the band program spends approximately $4000.00 from this account to support all our band students. The Head Start Camp and related costs, the cash year end Band awards to our High School Students, the Anthony Dyck Scholarship, as well as the MVP/MIP awards for our Jr. bands, and certain year end field trip costs.

This year we are going to be hosting the Steak Supper at the Buck Lake Stampede, July 13, 2019. It is estimated we
could serve 300 plates and raise approximately $3000.00 from this event, leaving a minimal amount to fundraise
throughout the year.

We are having a volunteer meeting at the school on Wednesday, May 15th, at 4 pm.

RSVP on or before May 14th to one of the contacts below.
