Information Processing
The Information Processing strand helps students develop knowledge and skills relating to computer technologies in six areas: systems management, text/data input, productivity software, applied processing, programming, and emerging technologies.
Each strand that a student completes is worth 1 Credit. Students enrolled in Information Processing are expected to receive a minimum 3 credits for a single semester and 5 credit for the entire year.

Communication Technology
The Communication Technology strand encourages students to use creative thinking and problem-solving skills in presentations, photography, print and audio/visual production, in order to help them develop media and technology literacy.
Each strand that a student completes is worth 1 Credit. Students enrolled in Communication Technologies are expected to receive a minimum 3 credits for a single semester and 5 credit for the entire year.
